After speaking to the owner of the buggy (the person who's car im drawing on) we ran through a few possible ideas of what sort of patter could be included onto the car and where abouts the patters could be included. After talking it through and looking at some images on the internet of existing car pattern designs, the client sent me these images as a reference to how he wanted his to look. After seeing these I had a better idea of how to approach the design and now I could start sketching some rough ideas down.
